The Genio Roasters ProRoast App allows the operators to log, load, and manage their roast profiles on their compatible Genio Roasters coffee roasting machines.
Operators can log several roast parameters during roasting including Bean Temperature, Environment Temperature, Bean Temperature Rate-of-Rise, Environment Temperature Rate-of-Rise, Gas Percentage, Fan Speed, Drum Speed, Turn Point Temperature and Time, First Crack Temperature and Time, Development Percentage and Time, and finally the roast time.
Most of these parameters are logged on a graph, and this forms the roast profile.
The roast profile is saved on to the device and can be loaded to recreate the profile using Genio Roasters’ Automation Features.Operators can also Export as well as Import existing profiles from their devices file storage, this core functionality allows operators to share their profiles amongst each other, team members within the business, or franchisees, to recreate them using Genio Roasters’ Automation Features.
There is also the option to store a Green Bean Origins database onto the system to associate created or recreated roast profiles with a specific origin.
